In this preview you will find information on Oak Park's Boy's Basketball Team and their summer plans.
Top Returners
Oak Park finished 4th in the OAA Red Division (Top Division) in 2020-2021. They return three starters from last years team. One of those starters, Ashton Henderson (@workoutash1), was named OAA All-League after a stellar Junior season. Ashton is getting interest from several D1 schools and playing with The Family in July. The other two returning starters are: Bwana "Boe" Miller (@Only1BoeMiller) and Derald Blackmon Jr. (@DeraldBJr). Miller is a 6'0 guard who shoots the ball very well and is good defensively on the ball. Boe will be playing with REACH Legends Elite in July. Blackmon is a 6'5 forward and very athletic, one of the top bouncy players in the state. Derald will be running with the Motorcity Chargers during July.

Oak Park will be attending these Team Camps in June:

Summer League
Oak Park will be competing in different summer leagues around the Metro Detroit area. Schedules will be posted at a later date. Administration at the school has not yet cleared participation in Summer League, only Team Camps for now.
Travel Ball in July
Oak Park Boy's Basketball has multiple players & coaches affiliated and playing for local Travel Basketball teams. Posted beneath their picture is where they will be playing in July.
