2026 BCAM Reaching Higher Players to Watch

This event is the best June high school event in our state!! You will get a chance to see some of Michigan's top players and teams!!! We have listed over 90 players that college coaches should be checking out as they watch. We didn't list everyone but this is a good start! Mr. Basketball Candidates (No particular order)

Eden Vinyard - Ferndale

Eden has made his case for one of the Top forwards in Michigan!! His ability to be versatile and all over the floor is what sets him apart!! Vinyard has had a great career so-far at Ferndale and he will continue to improve and make Ferndale a tough team to beat!

Christian Cast - Detroit Country Day

Christian Cast will join the list of some great guards to come out of Country Day. He's long and lanky similar to Edmond Sumner and has just as much game!! With D1 offers he is definitely a next level caliber player. As his body gets stronger, the sky is the limit! Look for Country Day to continue their recent success and make another Breslin run this upcoming year!

Stevie Hall - Detroit Cass Tech

Guards who average 30 points per game don't happen often!! Stevie put the Technicians on his back last season and he will continue to do so this year! This lefty can get to the rim, pull-up with a floater and is also a willing passer too!

Connor Brown - North Farmington

North Farmington was a really tough team to beat in the OAA because of Connor! After picking up D1 offers playing with Grand Rapids Storm, coaches are taking notice!! This athletic forward can finish with the best of them at the rim and tough defensively too! Must see forward at Reaching Higher!

Big guard!! Drew can get it done at all the levels. He can score, defend, get players involved everything! Look for Drew to have a Super sophomore season in a loaded 2029 class!

Damani Oliver 2029 - Detroit Douglass

Frederick Douglass has had its share of really good guards and he is next up!! Playing for The Family 15u he has gained some extra confidence after an outstanding freshman year! Look for the Hurricanes to make another run at a MHSAA D4 title with Oliver!!!

Carter George 2028 & Jordan McDaniel 2029 - Roseville

Roseville has made it's first big splash this summer early!! Getting McDaniel to transfer pairing him with Carter George is an unstoppable tandem! This Roseville team is loaded and with these guys playing together can and will be dangerous!

Brody Champagne 2029 - Clarkston

When you are 6'6 and can shoot you gotta chance!! Very intriguing prospect that held his own in the OAA this past season. Look for him to make a jump this summer while getting buckets too!

Detroit Renaissance!!! - Starting 3 freshman is tough to do and they did so last year and almost won a district title!! Kingston Hunt, Jeramiah Davis and Anthony Sledge are TOUGH!!! Add in transfer Taurean Wright Jr. and they will be a problem for years to come!!!

These players haven't played a varsity game yet but trust us they will make an immediate impact this season!

Braylan Davis - Detroit Catholic Central

Nationally ranked as one of the best guards in his class without playing a HS game. Coaches, do yourselves a favor and go watch Catholic Central!! If you haven't seen this standout guard then you're missing out!!

Austin Okerman - Detroit Catholic Central

Does Catholic Central have some of the TOP freshman both coming in? YES!! Austin is a big-time player ready to take off!! He will definitely have an impact for CC this season.

Kamani Walker - Muskegon

Some things never change and Muskegon having a top incoming freshman is expected!! Some say he is one of the top players in this incoming 2030 class and there is only one way to find out!!
