From the Mitten to the NBA
These former Mitten Recruits at some point played high school basketball in Michigan. Listed below is some information on where they attended college, stats and where they might get taken in the 2021 NBA draft.

Isaiah Jackson | Fr. - Kentucky

Jackson played a few seasons of high school basketball here in Michigan. He spent time at Old Redford Academy before transferring to Spire Academy and then finishing up at Waterford Mott. He would then commit to Kentucky where he averaged 8 pts, 7 rebs and 2.6 blocks per game. This athletic big makes a big impact inside on defense and we wouldn't be surprised if he gets a 1st round nod, even lottery!
RTM Prediction: Late lottery 1st round.

Duane Washington Jr. | Jr. - Ohio State

This former Buckeye played his high school basketball at Grand Rapids Christian High School. He was a HS teammate of Xavier Tillman, who currently plays for the Memphis Grizzlies. Washington Jr. would finish his prep career at Sierra Canyon (CA) and commit to Ohio State University. Duane would go onto having a nice career at OSU, averaging 16.4 points, 3 ast and 3 rebounds his Junior season. This big guard has the potential to being drafted to a team looking for depth at the combo guard position, think of guys like Monte Morris (Denver Nuggets) or Cassius Winston (Washington Wizards).
RTM Draft Prediction: Mid-Late 2nd round.

Isaiah Livers | Sr. - Michigan

Isaiah Livers played high school basketball at Kalamazoo Central High School. He had a very successful career there and was named Mr. Basketball in 2017. He would go onto play at the University of Michigan and play 119 games for the Wolverines scoring close to 1,000 points in his career (987). Teams looking for shooting especially from the forward position will be looking to draft him. His ankle is fully healthy and ready to make an impact like Mikal Bridges on a veteran team.
RTM Draft Prediction: Mid-Late 2nd Round.

Spencer Littleson | Sr. - Toledo

Spencer played his high school basketball at Rochester Adams HS. He would then go off to Duquense before transferring back to Toledo. In the MAC he had an outstanding senior campaign making 103 threes last season and shooting 47% from behind the arc. Teams looking for dead-three shooting will be looking to add this specialist late in the draft if not free agency. If Duncan Robinson can find a spot in the League, so can Spencer!
RTM Prediction: Late 2nd round or free agency.
Other Mitten recruits who might get a free agency deal or two-way contract after the draft:
Danny Pippen (Allen Academy | Kent State) , Justin Turner (Detroit Renaissance | Bowling Green) and Romeo Weems (New Haven | Depaul).
