Some of the state's top teams and players will be playing in this event!!! Filled with really good young players, State Champions, Mr. Basketball Candidates and MORE!!! We detail some of these players & teams in this years preview.
Mr. Basketball Candidates (No particular order)
KJ Torbert - East Lansing
State Champion from last season has been on fire this Summer! He is out to prove that East Lansing will be back to defend their crown and also that he is the best player in the state!
Jordan Sigmon - Detroit Renaissance
The future Mr. PSL this season has been getting buckets as usual. With mutiple D1 offers, he will be the best guard from the PSL and will put up huge numbers this season for Detroit Renaissance!
Cameron Ryans - Grand Rapids Northview
Cameron has gotten better ever season at Northview and had bunch high scoring games last season. Also with multiple D1 offers, he's looking to bring the Mr. Basketball trophy back to the westside of the state!
Chance Houser - Romulus Summit Academy
Romulus Summit Academy is a very, very good team and he is a standout!! Chance has been on a run this summer to let the state know he is a problem!! Hard to believe he doesn't have D1 offers but if he keeps his play up that will not last long!!! Coaches OFFER THIS ONE TRUST US!!!
Jaylohn Allen - Wayne Memorial
One of the state's top guards, the ball will be in hands a lot for Wayne Memorial after the departure of Medlock. Look for him to run the show at a high-level!!
Greg Grays Jr. - Brother Rice
Coaches if you need a bucket, this is your guy!! Brother Rice will be a top team in Catholic League this year and expect him to score at a HIGH clip!
Isaiah Theodile - Kalamazoo Central
Kalamazoo Central is back and they are loaded!! Isaiah is one of the best bigs in the state and his game is becoming more versatile!! Once he starts to show off his ball-skills and shooting its a wrap!!
